Rosin is my girl. She is everything I ever thought a cattle dog should be. She is energetic and talented. Rosin loves to play ball and frisbe, but lives to please me. Rosin has tons of herding instinct and we were finally able enter a trial and earn her first herding title. Rosin also has an uncanny talent for Agility. She will go through any obstacle I ask at mach speed flicking an ear listening for her next cue. She puts 100% of herself into everything she does. Rosin is intense and the lead dog here at the BRB Ranch. Yep, she's an alpha bitch!

Rosin's first herding lesson at home with me and our new stock June 2008

I discovered agility in 2008 and began competing in NADAC agility on April 19th, 2009. Rosin earned her Novice Agility Certificate (or NAC title) on June 6th, 2009 only two months since our first trial. We then took a break and hadn't been to a trial until now. Rosin earned her Novice Jumpers Certificate (NJC title) on Sept. 5th, 2009. These are the only two classes we have competed in NADAC so far and she titled in both over 4 trials! And... we accomplished this without a trainer or equipment to train on. Talk about winging it, lol. I am now hooked and taking regular agility classes with all my dogs to improve with;-)

Rosin's herding training has come a long way since this video. She has been worked on chickens, goats, sheep, and cattle. Rosin has earned her Junior Herding Dog title and proved how versatile and talented she really is!
